Which end of the engine? Can you see any coolant dripping from inside the timing belt cover?richteex wrote:Hi. If it was the rad, you'll see it puddling on the rad cross member, and as it should have green antifreeze in its easy to spot.

Re: Coolant leak
i think its something do with resevoir.... it was removed amonth back when the clip on the powersterring fluid was changed... think it may have something do do with that. Have check hoses to and from there but no leaks. Might take it out and check

Re: Coolant leak
Water pump would be my guess.
After a run (engine warm), with engine off, run your hand near the bottom left corner of the engine, belt pulley side, and feel for any water coming out.....be careful not to burn your hand.

Re: Coolant leak
Ok thanks for that, im off for a run later and will check. So what do you rekon the damage would be to replace...... seems to be one thing after the other this year (maybe time to replace)
Re: Coolant leak
If the water pump is faulty, you will be looking at a full timing belt kit replacement as well, people have paid all sorts of different prices to have this job done, if you are sending it to a garage, the cost could be minimum £250, doing it yourself will cost a lot less.
