Picked myself up another 406 - facelift 2001 1.8 16v this time. one day i'll get an SRi turbo!
Anyway, the biggest problem with this one is that the central locking doesn't work - at all.
The only key was missing the rubber from the big button and the little surface mount switch was broken.
So I desoldered the switch from the little button, put it in place of the big button, and went out to match it up.
Now when I press the big button there's some relays clicking in the fusebox, but nothing happens at the doors.
It's the same with the key - it doesn't unlock the rest of the doors from any of the locks at all.
So - any suggestions where to start looking, or does anyone have a diagram of the central locking system please?
Thanks in advance again.

Re: Central Locking problem
What happens when you lock/unlock the drivers door from inside?
