Hi all,
Just wondering if anybody could possibly tell me if a Strut Brace off a 406 Coupe would fit my d8 406 saloon?

Yes it will, but I found that it didn't clear the bonnet support framework underneath. A good few whacks later with a heavy hammer and the strut brace now clears the bonnet. Make sure you get the longer strut top bolts aswell as they are different to the ones currently on your car.

Any noticeable difference as you hurl it 'round the corners at 50?

Re: Strut Brace fitment?
To be honest, no. The car was standard suspension wise when I fitted it. Now the car is lowered and I need to replace one track rod end and then get it aligned. Seems quite taught around the bends, but the back end seems to sway a bit. Once everythings sorted I may gain enough confidence in the chassis to test it a bit more.
Tis pretty cool having one though. It may help out more than I realise it too.

I found on my D9 that the strut brace cured the strange tendency to understeer at low speed in the wet, such as on mini roundabouts etc. It's one of those chassis that doesn't really come together until it's got a bit of velocity under its belt.
