skidding
has anyone any ideas on why my 406 has just started to loose grip round roundabouts? ive just changed to alloy wheels but i put the old tyres on alloys. Road was slightly wet but the cars back end slid completly out, this has happened more than once and it was at low speed, even slower now!

Re: skidding
Check out the tyres, maybe you/they broke a belt changing them or they're bass ackwards, then check the geometry.

If your tyres aren't covered in oil, I'd get the tracking checked out, especially the camber.

Re: skidding
My bald-ass tyres let me power slide round roundabouts. Teh fun.

Re: skidding
Trailing arms bushes and/or excessive play in the suspension causing the wheels to 'move' under cornering.
Mine used to feel a bit rear endy when the FRONT tyres were low on grip.
