Everything appears fine with the car except that i dont know what this is..
When the revs reaches the 2100 mark, the engine seems to vibrate louder and it vibrates through the accelerator pedle, and the pedle seems lighter to press, as if its hardly there at all except for the vibration. This happens in any gear as soon as you get to and past the 2100 mark. make sense? Any ideas what this is?
The other half reckons it could be the cambelt might be too tight, or it might be the turbo kicking in seeing as its always at a specific point but thought id ask. I wouldnt have thought it was either of those but then im not mechanically minded, it just doesnt feel normal.

My money's on the top engine mount (about £20 from eurocarparts, and easy to replace). It's a common weak point.
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

The bottom engine mount needs attention but would that always happen at 2100revs?mjb wrote:My money's on the top engine mount (about £20 from eurocarparts, and easy to replace). It's a common weak point.
