Re: Few bits done to my d8 today with pics!!

Update.

This weekend i thought that i would sort the rear bumper out, due to a couple of scrapes on the drivers side of it. As i had enough paint left over from doing the front bumper and mirrors... I could'nt believe how long a 400ml tin as lasted tbh
I have attached pictures of before and after.. Please take alook Also i have also attached a pair of brand new Numberplates which freshen up the look in my opinion..

What it was like.. :(

What it looks like now.. :D

I will again, leave it until next weekend for the lacquer to properly harden and will rub it gently and then polish it up using my fav polish.. I will post up some pics once i have done this, so watch this space!!!

I purchased it from a company called Milton Keynes Paint & Equipment www.mkpe.co.uk, and the other supplies from my local car parts shop

I used to use halfords paint by there special mixed paint, but it isn't no way as good as the paint i brought from mkpe. And it works out cheaper!

Finished? Then you won't be interested in the chrome and leather 207 Sport gearknob I've acquired. I was only gonna ask a tenner, seeing as it's you, but if you think it'sd finished....

Well, I'm certainly inspired to have a go with the paint. Seems like a relatively inexpensive way to tidy the car up big time. However there's just no way I'm going to have a go outdoors... wonder if I can rent some lock-up space around here somewhere?

Fear not Leo - my knob is reserved until you can get your hands on it. My knob oughta look good thrusting out of your centre console.
