HDi 90 Remap

Post by BruceT »

I'm looking at giving my 90 HDi a little more poke.

Does there anyone who has a good reputation of remapping the HDi/Peugeots?

Does anyone have a HDi 90 which is remapped, what are your experiences?

Ive been in contact with 'Celtic Tuning' and the quote some good gains, but there just quotes etc.

Any feedback as to someone who is recommended with proven gains in torque and hp?

I've heard good things about Celtic but I personally think their quotes are a little optimistic.

I've had my 2.1TD done by the Derv Doctor, who I would recommend and so would many others. A bit of a drive from Bristol, but it's worth it. Give him a ring...

I just hope you HDi is remappable. I don't think the one with a Siemens pump can be remapped.

I had my HDi 90 remapped by Jamie Shires http://www.sp-tuning.co.uk over 2 years ago and have no regrets at all. It has given me tons of low down grunt for towing the caravan while keeping my 50-55mpg consumption at motorway speeds. The car is a better drive all-round. It's all positives with no negatives. I should have done it sooner. Shame it didn't leave the factory like this!
