This motor was won a few days ago for £410... guess the sale didn't go through as it's been relisted. What's pi$$ing me off is that 1.9s like mine are going for at least 500, I just don't have the spare cash to buy the V6 while I sell the diesel. Bah, grumble and grrr...

Wheel just looks a tad curbed, there's a place near here would fix that for less than a score. Not that this is much help to you guys...

Lawks I'd have to pay 10 times as much for one of them here (and 4 times as much to insure it). Annual registration would be the same as any other car, no tax as it's too old. A trip to Bosnia for an lpg conversion...

They're cheap now for many reasons, mainly fuel, insurance, taxation (on 2001-on cars) and the rising cost of maintenance in relation to their value - a cambelt and roller change is liable to cost more than the price the car sold for.

If, however, you can live with these things it could be fun.

Even with a kacked motor a canny buyer could maybe make a profit shifting the interior, panels, allows etc etc. Hhhhmmm...
