Hi everyone

my heater seems to have a mind of its own,set at 21 doesnt come on then blasts out hot air for a moment then cold then hot again ur either sweating or freezing, fan works as doed a/c where is cabin temp sensor as this may be damaged is it poss to clean maintain it. car is a 02 hdi 90

Thanks i wouldnt have found the fan & thermister in a million yrs but have cleaned them & still dont seem to make any diff the htr pumps out hot air next min is gone to outdoor temp, my old motors without c/c just push out nice warm air depending on where dial is set, im thinking thermister could be up creeck can they be tested or does any of you clever bods have a part no for a new one.

I'd just grab a new overhead console from a breakers yard or ebay :wink:
