Boot organiser - good idea?

I met the guy who designed, developed and produces this useful add-on for a car boot. It is made in Leicestershire apart from the bags.





I think it is an interesting idea - any comments? (I don't have shares! - yet!! )

Looks nice and maybe OK for some, but it would just give my dogs something to savage on the way to walkies

i can see it might be okay for somepeople but most of my stuff is funny shapes eg tools ,boots etc

Strategic use of bungees and straps!

I just have one of them huge bags floating about. It used to be a cardboard box but I thought it would be neater. This boot organiser looks just the ticket for a saloon, although the amount of times my back seats go up and down in my estate I think I'll stick with the bag.

And now a word on bungee cables. You know those ones with the nice metal hooks on the end? I binned all of mine a few years back when a mate lost an eye to one...

i can speak from experience on that as well when i was 10 year old me and my friend decided to see if he could bungee down the slide in the park with me standing on top of the slide and hold an end each , it slipped out of my hand at full stretch and caught him square between the eyes giving him 2 black eyes and a badly broken nose if the hook hat turned a bit it could have been very gory .
needless to say we didnt stay friends for much longer

OK - bungees are not allowed !!

So look again at the straps used in the last photo - these are not stretch ones. Also there is a compartment for a tin in the rear corners made to fit a standard 2.5 or 5 litre paint tin. I am about to get mine and will take some photos to show it in use.

Just use the bag handles to tie the bag up

Ditto bungee's , once released one with left hand while right hand was in line of
fire , result hook buried in hand and oh dear were not the words used to express
my anger
At this moment in time ihave in my estate a radio controlled plane 6' wing span
a folding table a folding chair bag containing a battery and various starting equip
for said plane tool box ( with spare empty lager tin) blanket rubber mats to prevent
slippage coat hat gloves headlight protectors etc so would kind of take some strapping
down to a organizer , good idea if you do not take full time advantage of all the space an estate
offers

I've used one of those nets hooked to the 4 floor rings ... OK but squashes everything, and reduces the useful space to diddly squat! My estate boot does take an amp and guitar plus other performance stuff regularly so I'll let you know how the organiser copes - you can slide it forwards (relative to the car) to the rear of the rear seat when you need more space so it effectively lines the boot area.
