From other things said I'm pretty sure it'll need a new hydraulic system part 209555 (£384) or one from another D8 with ES9J4 specifically. I suspect it MAY be possible to upgrade the system to the better D9 separates system, but that depends on the position and length of the master cylinder push-rod
Fitting will also require removal of the inlet manifold, a new manifold gasket (£3 iirc) and while you're at it, new spark plugs
