I'd give it a miss - the 2 interior photos are from different cars. That would be enough to set alarm bells ringing for me!

Well spotted Matt!

It would be good to loose the automatic but the expression here (there) is "better the devil you know"...

If you're motor is running fine and you've kept it in tip top trim, then hang onto it. The gains of the new motor are so minimal it's not worth the risk of ending up with a dog.

As far as my dutch goes, it was bought in good nick to repair another coupe, so it's just lacking front wings, both bumpers, bonnet and gearbox. Not bad at all for €750 over there!

(Love the way wings is 'vleugels' where bird is 'vogel'. Got to spend more time speaking the language  )

So they dismantled a coupe in order to fix another? Is it automatic?

What's Dutch for split pin?

I guess if you're putting a new box in there, you could put in whatever you want

Can't imagine an auto->manual conversion would need more than a clutch, a flywheel maybe, the box itself and the gearstick mechanism, along with a pp2000 session to tell the car it's a manual. I have no idea about auto wiring though :|

Pass. I only learned enough car lingo to basically describe what's up if I broke down in .be or .nl

coupe's are nice, but they carry a hefty price premium
