hi all, i dont come on here very often, mainly for adwice :oops:

i have a 99 D8 lxdt, and recently the motor on the drivers mirror went a bit spazy and has now stoped working :(

now my question is, i have been offered a set of manual mirrors cheap, if i get these will i be able to just whip out motorised one and slot this in place with out loosing the use of my windows and such like??

hope all you super brainy folks out there can help :cheesy:

Can't see why anything would break apart from recalling seat memories (if you have electric seats)

Yes you can just swap them over although if you look on ebay you may find a new motor module dirt cheap!

cheers guys, ill be getting the mirrors this week and i if i get chance to fit them i'll let you know how it goes :cheesy:

i dont have the lush leather electronic memory seats although i wish i had :(

as for finding the cheap motor.......free sounds better to meeeeeeee :lol: Im only a slight tight arse
