I`m still on the original battery,6 & a bit yrs old,115k miles
Got a brand new battery on the 2.1 td outside,tempted to swap them over.

I was looking at the Volvo's fronts yesterday and I reckon if I see 8000 miles out of them it would be a miracleBruceT wrote: bit like tyres in that respect, large outlay but last a good few years (less if performance car lol)

You'll have to loose the moon-boots, Welly.
Must be power rather than torque that mangles 'em - my fronts don't seem to wear too badly though it was a handful with the old Continentals. Eventually changed them a little before they were legally dead.
