Radio Display

Hello again,

The radio display on my car only shows the temp and radio buff, i have read they can sow mpg and allsorts is this model specific, i have looked at the stalk and has the button for changing, or it could be a fake button as there are no arrows printed on it as in the manual...

Any way of getting this feature to work, maybe a new stalk and a bit of wiring??

Its a 1998 SRI Turbo if that helps..

Sounds like my D8, the button appears to be there but it's a dummy, if it's supposed to work it'll have an arrow or two on it.

So is it possible to get a button stalk and replace to get the features??

I gather it's a little more complicated than that...

There's a large thread on this in the electrical forum.

You need a new stalk and a lot of wiring. Also you'll want a new stereo if you're still using the OEM one as the display can't show trip computer data and stereo output without being reconfigured
