1) Insure the car
2) Tax it
3) Fill it up
4) Give it a damn good clean
5) Replace glow-plugs
6) Acquire GLX 15" alloy to replace broken one

But most importantly, get a better paid job to pay for the above!!
The answers no!

Now whats the question?

Don't I know it.. the last downpipe/cat/flexi lasted about a year before it started to fail, I've hung on and on mainly because there was always something else needed doing and next year I will finally have to bite the bullet and do something about it as several regulars have commented on my car started to sound "throaty"
Next on the agenda would be the radiator fan motor, followed by the annoying clonk on the front d/s when I brake, accelerate and go over the numerous potholes in this town. I'm hoping it's just a wishbone bush but seeing as it seemed to appear after the gearbox was changed I'm praying it's not the driveshaft
Then the loud clonking on the passenger side rear when I go over bumps. Again I hope it's a bush and not the coil spring :supafrisk:
Then removing and cleaning the EGR valve. Incidentally I had an "interesting" fault on the car last night coming up the hill to J22 M1. I'd set the cruise control to 70 so I was surprised when the speedo needle dropped to under 60, then 50 and I had to knock it off and attempt to pick up speed. Only it took about 5 minutes to get it back up to 70
