you have the dealer version where login to main peugeot site is allowed? and online downloading of firmware is allowed? me too have a chinese version but those funtionalties are not there as there's no login provided. you have to have to login to obtain immobilizer access codes by vehicle chassis number, access to schematic diagrams and download latest software/firmware for newer models released recently from Peugeot.

UPDATE: Garage says the ECU is not getting power fully and only 1/2 is working so they are chasing a broken wire - they need the connector pug pinouts for the ECU ... does anyone have these? (110 BHP, HDI, 2003 model)

Cheers :D

V43 doesnt need to go online or log into the website to do programming, later versions do everything online, so as long as you stick with an older version of the sotware, you should be fine

I havent found any wiring diagrams so far, i have them for the EDC15C2, but its the rare twin processor version for the 2.0 hdi 16v engine and it wired very differently to the 8v ecu

My local car electronics bloke has told me all is now working after re-installing the software from scratch - he said they "wiped the system clean and reinstalled". So I wait to see (i) if this is a permanent fix and (ii) how much lighter my wallet is!

UPDATE: The garage called just now ... £200 for towing and the reset of the computer!

... and I need new disks and pads all round .... ouch ... another £300 ontop of the service!

So £600 quid later and I want to kick Peugoet where it hurts!
