quick auto lights question

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Doesn't it only affect multiplex cars? What does the button on the end of your indicator stalk do Bertrum?

Not wanting to cause offence, but have you tryed it with the sat nav off???
When my sat nav worked,& i was using it,if i pressed the end of the indicator stalk, mine would also repeat the last sat nav command. :o
Also,do you have the auto dimming rear view mirror? And if so,the sensor behind it visable at the top of the windscreen?? :o

i tried it with the nav off (ive never used it, lol) just used that as an example as thats what the button is supposed to do.

And yeah i have the auto rear view mirror which on the front of the windscreen has two sensors. I thought they were only for the auto wipers (which mine has got)

Im thinking ill give a quick call to pug. See if they can tell me.

The auto-dimming mirror is largely self-contained. It has two light sensors built into the mirror housing itself (one at the front, one at the back) and all it gets from the car is power and a feed from the reverse gear switch
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
