OIL TEMP GAUGE/FAILURE

HI GUYS DO ANY OF YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN START LOOKING TO WORK OUT WHY MY OIL TEMP GAUGE ISNT WORKING.I HAVE THE RAPIER 406 HDI 90 BHP 2002,IS THERE A SENDER UNIT OR SWITCH I CAN LOOK FOR AND CHECK OR ANY WIRING AROUND THE ENGINE I CAN CHECK,DO ANY OF YOU KNOW WHERE THESE THINGS ARE LOCATED,ONCE AGAIN ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Mine doesnt work either and ive not found the answer.

From the limited info I have the temp sendor is built into the oil level sensor which is on the back of the engine.
