There I was, scanning the ads for anything interesting (i.e. ridiculously cheap coupe, flying pig etc.) when I cam across this:
I was wondering why anyone in their right mind would want to paint their car like that and what they'd done with the grille when I noticed something...
Not sure if I like how it's been done but.... it has been.
Bearing in mind your last pics I half expected it to be two cars welded together!

That's a D8 bonnet, D8 bumper (sort of, they're D8 fog lamps anyway) with D9 lights. Looks like the bonnet's been ground off to fit, with that extra section welded on where the grille is meant to be. It's almost ok but I bet it's not a pretty sight once the bonnet's open.
It recalls to mind 2 tone paintjobs of the 70's, where the bottom half of the car would be in a different colour if the owner wanted the rust sorted on the cheap.
