17" Alloys on my V6 Executive
Hi guys I have recently purchased ( a year ago ) my V6 Exec and its gorgeous , now I have obtained some aftermarket 17" alloys rather cheap, and have discovered you need spacers to fit them ( 20mm i think as the front struts are in the way ). My question is although they look very nice and on the car I am sure they will look the biz having these 20mm spacers on and longer bolts I am not to sure i am comfortable with and the speedo will be a liitle out , faster or slower I don't know. When you have a V6 under your foot and to be honest poxy 15" wheels it doesn't do the car justice to its street cred. 17" will fill the arches nicely . All I think I will do to this car is if you think its worth it is put these 17" alloys on and also get an induction kit . What are your thoughts.

Here you go mate http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html
Put the size of the original tyres and the new ones in the calculator on that page and it'll tell you the % difference. Bear in mind that most speedos read 5% to 10% under coming out of the factory!

225/45/17 tyres are what you need. I run my 406 on 17's (see link in my signature below) with this size tyres on the front, and 235/45/17's on the back. My wheels also require spacers and extended bolts and I haven't had any issues with them at all.
