406 Coupe V6

Post by Pob »

Hi all,

I've recently sold my 205 and now looking to replace it. I currently have a 406 Saloon and carn't fault it... Only cost £250 not had a ounce of trouble with it. I'm looking at getting a 406 Coupe V6, is there anything to look out for? I can imagine replacing the cambelt/waterpump is an expensive job so evidence of this is important. I was looking at the SE model so it'll have the gadgets. Is there any common problems?

Many Thanks,
Dan

We could give you a few pointers but it'd be easier if you signed up on the owner's club - http://www.peugeot406coupe.com - and had a squint round on there. I gather there's even a buyer's guide of sorts in the FAQs
