How to change wingmirror?

Hi there, ive got a replacement OS wingmirror for my D9 406, but ive never done this before, how exactly do i remove the old one and fit the new one?

Three torx screws - one behind a small round cover on the door card and two behind the little triangular bit of plastic, which you push upwards as far as I remember.

You have to gently lever off the triangular plate, it can be a bit tight.
Lower the window to make your life easier!
Then as Steve says 3 torx screws. I'd use a magnetic screwdriver as they like to drop in the door!

Once you have undone the screws, the mirror comes away easily. The cable pulls out a little bit but you have to release he catch on the plug to release the old mirror. The catch is at the top of the plug. You have to find the catch lever and pull it "over the top" of the plug assembly. It is hinged at one end. Easy to do once you find it, but need to look hard to find it

Top tip:

Windows down - catch it with both hands so you don't wreck the paint work. :cheesy:
