bulbs blown in stereo display and clock

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Is your clock kinda round triangle shaped just next to the instrument cluster? If so, prise it out, remove the bulb and get a replacement from Peugeot. Someone on here did supply the part number for it and they got it for a bargain £2.02 including VAT. I bought one yesterday from Robins & Day Peugeot in Sale, Manchester and got rinsed for £2.75 including vat.  robbing bar stewards. Will nip to the car in a bit and dig out the part number for you

You can get them in Halfords or Maplins, just your bog-standard dash bulbs.
Either that or load your pockets up at a breakers! :supafrisk:

Just be careful if buying from a motor factors as some of them, the holder part is a lot deeper.

I went in to the one my mate works at, and the ones he sold were too deep, so as he had no other customers, took mine apart and fitted 286 bulbs into them - £1.99 retail for 2, but he gives me discount, so had 4 bulbs for 3 squid.
The clock one has enough room to allow fitment of the deeper holder, but the MFD definately hasn't
