Hello
I assume your battery is in good condition and swinging her over good. You could start by
(1) Checking the Heater plugs - they should go on for 20 seconds from key on and through cranking. Then you have to key off to reset or wait another period of time - I think it is another 20 secs.
(2) On the high pressure pump there is a 2 pin valve that is the pressure regulator and should read 2- 4 ohms resistance. If this sticks it will prevent high pressure build up in time before the heater plugs time out. Dirt and floss is the main cause - floss from the fuel filter being changed without changing the whole filter housing. If you take it out to check do it carefully since there is a small seal which if not already broken is easy to break and will cause the same problem.
(3) Water dripping onto the hall effect Timing sensor on the gearbox bell housing.
OH yes please make sure you clean around all that area and usual precations of safety working around High pressure pipes (1300Bar here)when running.
Just a few easy checks
Hope this is of use.
Cheers
