Due to not working my 406 sri estate is up for sale.
Not really sure of its value but see how it goes. I would poss take a trade on a small diesel otherwise we are gonna see if we can manage with one car for now.

Reduced the price.

Thought I would get more interest as 1.8 and 2.0 models seem to sell for that much with these kind of miles.

It's a fair price for a rare car in good shape.

If it was a saloon, I might have been interested.

Its located in Leeds.

You either want an estate or you dont lol. Some makes of car the estate fetch more.

The cam belt, clutch, top engine mount and front lambda sensor have been changed, needs a rear one too. Inside is almost mint really and the outside is very good too.

I have seen 1.8 and 2.0l estates go for more with similar miles and in a similar condition. Plus the clutch alone was £400 and cam belt is one less thing to worry about for another 60k.

Just having no interest so may have to reduce it again to sell it or just keep it and run into the ground. Not many for sale anywhere for comparison either, only one sri estate on autotrader.

Be patient! Winter was traditionally a bad time to sell a car so it might pay to hold fire on dropping the price or removing it for another could of weeks. Is Pistonheads the only place you have it advertised? Why not autotrader, where I see you're already under that other SRi which as lots more miles than yours.

I usually do use autotrader but just tried the free places for now. The problem with a sporty estate is it has a very small audience as not many who want sporty also want an estate etc. Most want diesel estates.

Mileage wise its pretty good and its been really well looked after indeed. I may just do as you say and leave it for now as it is which at £1150 is a bargain especially with whats been done to it already and the fact anyone interested is no doubt gonna knock me down etc.

The other thing is tax and mot which are due in the summer as if it don't sell before the mot and I put it through and tax again I may as well bite the bullet and keep it if you know what I mean as its reliable and they are very good engines in em. I could just do with a more economical smaller diesel really.

Just been collected this evening. Sold to no2lurch for a bargain price of £1000. Thanks neil.

I am sad to see her go but needs must and just cant afford to run 2 cars in the family for now.
