has anyone switched to using these,(white ones)?

just wondering if they are just a gimmick or not :?

no but did this to my dash bulbs in green ,look much better in the flesh im just crap with a camera

I've used these on my camper festoon lamps and they make a great difference to the light output and reduce the load on the battery.

Get the higher output ones though like these Image

Can u dim these on your dash?
Im probably wrong but i thought u cant dim LEDs? :idea:

LED's will dim a little when the voltage drops but not like incandescent bulbs and this does not damage them ... you must be the only person in the UK who dims their dashboard lights! :)

Ha Ha im a little wierd like that i think its cos i like 2 save the life of the bulb. But that wouldnt be a prob with LEDs :)
