Bonnet wont open

Hi guys,


Tried to open bonnet today, but didnt want to open up!, pulled lever inside, lifted catch under bonnet, but wudnt pop up.

Anyone experianced this before?

Try having someone pull the catch inside the car whilst you press down on the front of the bonnet, or gently ease a wedge of wood under the front then pull the catch.If you succeed in lifting it, give the whole mechanism a good lubricating with WD40.
If you still can't release it you might have to try to get at the bolts holding the catch on to the front panel....won't be easy.

Yes,

I had this, it turned out that the catch wasn't moving enough to release the bonnet, a good clean with WD40 and then some grease on the mechanism and its been fine since. I was in a panic at first but with a few tries i got it to open.
