You might need to clean up the sensors on the mirror motors.
Either that or someone's swapped the mirror at some stage & it's got a module without the position sensors!
Just a thought, swap the mirrors over & see if the fault stays with the mirror

I had a squint on the coupe club but a mirror search brings up pages and pages :( I think they're more likely to have experience of memory seats so perhaps you could ask on there too (if you didn't already, bit busy here lately)

I had a looky on the coupe club too. It seems to be with either a BSI reset or the mirror water damaged and acting a bit mental. I might try teamys approach at the weekend and see how I get on. I just keep programming the setting over and over into the memory. I think its improving slightly so I'll keep trying that.

Nope Kilometres in all cars made after 2005. Before it was miles. the metric system is a better system and it was relatiely wasy to change over compared to the UK who will find it hard when they eventually do. So my 2000 car is in miles and its done 154k. After the engine rebuild 3k ago, its going really well. I love the beefy sound from it.

Yep. 16 valves replaced after the engine seized when the timing belt snapped. New Timing belt fitted. Completely new exhaust system. Gear linkages changed. Clutch fitted and fully serviced. I know the guy I bought it from

Not that lucky puggy. On really worrying thing is that I checked the oil last night and it was really low. Nothing showed up on the dipstick. I stuck 3litres of 10w40 Synthetic in there fairly quickly. I was told it was due a service and it was stored for a couple of months. All i need now is a seized engine.
