Re: Who's Spotted any "10" reg cars yet?
Astra's have the hardest, flattest, most bloody uncomfortable seats - Infact I'd rather sit on a park bench for 3 hours than drive one through traffic!
Looked at one a few years back (when I had the shits at the 406) and it drove well, but not nice enough. Rubbery gearshift and the crap interior sealed the deal for me.

Hard as an Astra's bum perch is the Golfs feels like a church pew in comparison.
Re: Who's Spotted any "10" reg cars yet?
Not seen too many, a 3008 on the A5 the other day, and few odd cars out and about - think i've seen more sat in the research garage on a444 going into nuneaton than actually on the road
I was thinking the other day how many cars you see that are either white, silver or very dark i.e very dark blue or a black
Can't really talk with a dark metallic green car, but I know people don't appear to like colourful cars too much.
Must say, I had a mazda come past me in a lightish green, which I thought was a nice colour - not that i'm thinking of spraying the pug

Now I've read that a few times now, backwards and forwards, even trying to imagine what other words he could have used but am still confusedSTALLED wrote:Looked at one a few years back (when I had the shits at the 406) and it drove well, but not nice enough. What, thorpe?

There's some street signage around here saying CANAL STREET imagine my boyish giggles when someone regularly tippex's out the C and the S on a very regular basis (once the council 'fix' it each time)

Re: Who's Spotted any "10" reg cars yet?

I remember Scunthorpe because of an article about the BBC website's overzealous auto-censoring word filter; people from Scunthorpe were complaining. Thing is, I'd never actually thought about the you-know-what in Scunthorpe until the article mentioned it.
So now that's what I associate with Scunthorpe!

Damn those Norse gods...
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
