My saloon is Nov. 99, it says "D9" on the speedo dial.

I thought V was the first UK D9 registration, but I've seen T-reg cars that look like fully D9. There is one I sometimes see at the petrol station at the end of my street that is T-reg and is D9 front, D8 back, with D8 interior.

Frankenstein's 406.

Cant say Ive ever seen (or heard) one with differing exteriors. If someone could find a pic of one, it would be cool

edit: Here's a boy racers D8

But wait..... http://www.k3nnystudio.com/406sale/Image272.jpg

Clearly its been modified this way. This led me to think that any D8 that maybe had a smash at the front was repaired with D9 bumper, lights, grill and bonnet. That may be what people could have seen

There used to be a pic on here, in fact I think there was a thread about it. I've had a quick search but can't find it, sorry. Now stop talking to me, I'm supposed to be doing college work :x

I like both the Welton Panel and the Bluey Bling on the front of your car, Dai.

Could someone please let me know how to do the Bluey Bling properly?

Also interested in aquiring a Welton Panel, and not sure how best to go about it (or how one would fit it upon receiving it).

Can I have my royalty bonus payment please?

Never did get me one of them

Available from the dealers, try searching cos there's a part number somewhere and I think they've even appeared on ebay (probably liberated from the parts store by some scally working there, oh wait, no, sorry...all ebay goods are honest and genuine).

I'm sure there was a how-to an' all :frown:

7452AG, about 30 quid, it's held on with a couple of sprag washers, 698721 50p a go. You'll also have to get the drill out and make some holes for it

Did someone not stick theirs on with strong adhesive instead?

Yeah someone did. I used the drill and some very small self tappers :supafrisk:

I remember putting fitting pics on, I'll try to find them.

You just made that up didn't you?

Didn't you?

Highlander - just bosh it on with some silicone, it won't go anywhere.

Nope.

I think you'd need to break the pins off it but I can't see anything wrong with glue. Not sure if silicon would stick tho.
