Lady owner. Undoubtedly a low level drug dealers car. Probably has it registered in the wifes name so the car couldnt get seized from the Criminal Assets Bureau. Although the irony is that its a crime to do that to a 406 and it should be seized on that basis

I've just got back from a funeral in Ireland (Nenagh). Don't go there without a 4x4; the roads are absolutely AWFUL with a few in such a state that the small sections of tarmac still surviving have become hazards because of their raised nature!

My exhaust's blowing from the middle now, my blowing exhaust manifolds have gotten a lot worse, and I think I've buckled a wheel or two :(
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

WHAT???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Thats so funny. Thats where I'm from originally!!! My mother has a shop there. Did you notice a lot of Peugeots there? Slatterys of Puckane. Thats where we get all our pugs. Did you bring the coupe over??? I would have met you if you said. And yes the roads in nenagh and Ireland in general suck. High rate of road tax too (as I keep saying)

Loads of 406s, yeah, but mine was the only coupe I saw. You may have seen it if you saw the procession going through town on Wednesday evening as I had to drive my mom who can't walk far... Stayed at the Abbey Court Hotel, which I believe is on the Dublin Rd and learned to use the entrance closest to the door at O'Connors else there's be a very nasty bang coming from under the car

The worst though was probably the main road between Nenagh and Garrykennedy (that the right name?)... High speed limit and *mostly* ok, but plenty of very deep and exceptionally well hidden ones. That's where I think I may have buckled a wheel... The exhaust got its fair share of scrapings on that stretch too
