Hi all, can anyone point me in the direction for details on changing the timing belt please. Car is a 1996 1.8 16 valve with i think a xu7jp4 engine.
Not sure if its a manual or automatic tensioner.
Many thanks.

You really need to find out whether you have the manual or the automatic tensioner.
The manual tensioner version is easier to do than the auto version by the looks of the instructions in my timing belt book.
It's a bit long winded to post the instructions, but I could if you know which tensioner you have.
The manual tensioner is similar to the HDi in that the tensioner wheel has a square hole in the centre of it, whilst the automatic has a pointer system which is rather complicated to set up.
If I were you I would try to borrow a timing belt book or talk nicely to someone with Autodata on their computer, or try to find a manual with the info in it.

Thanks, guess i will have to check which tensioner . Phoned dealers for a price and from chassis number they said its an automatic tensioner.
