Anyone know much about these bikes as my eldest son's about to buy one :shock:
Seems like a bit of a beast but thats his choice :roll: whats your thoughts guy's cos i know some of you have bikes

Hubba hubba hubba! :cheesy: I dunno much about them but I know people love 'em. Not a sports bike as such, but it's still a good way to rack up those points...

MCN review There's plenty of xjr forums too, which must be worth a read.

yea i done the reviews and all that steve thanks,just wondered if anyone had any experience of them 8)
will we open bets on how long before he falls off the back :roll:

A couple of my mates have got the XJR13, they rave about them! No problems have cropped up yet and they are riden year round.
*As teamy pootles along on his 500* :mrgreen:

How old is your son though as the insurance may be a bit steep!

I had a look through on the TDM forums, they're usually critical of other bikes (especially Bimmers :roll: ) but all I found was they're rather juicy and they can rot rather badly if left to the elements. The only other comment was not as big and heavy as you'd expect.

Actually that's a point, watch out for the finish on the clutch & genny covers; they don't like salt.

Well guys this is what we bought,tell me your thoughts btw paid £3000 with full service history,two brand new tyres....not on the rims yet,even tho the tyres on the bike are approx 1/2 worn ohhh and its 1 owner,its datatagged and micro-dotted as well.Lots of other stuff as well that i forget atm
