Looks like it went AWOL in the hacking episode... Nevertheless it was likely something to do with me making a rather nice garlic chicken curry and producing somewhat malodorous gasses the following day. It's not a rare occurrence

Must say I enjoy a curry, though more of a Chinese takeaway curry than an Indian curry, which I normally find are very coconutty / yoghurty.

Enjoy pizza, usually a Hawaiian or pepperoni, salami and peppers.

My ever expanding waistline is testament to my love of takeaways too - fish suppers, KFCs etc.

Snacking, I love crisps. Most kinds - Tayto, Monster Munch, Squares, McCoys, Hunky Dorys, Quavers :cheesy:

Basically, unhealthy food = om nom nom

Apart from mushrooms. Can't stand mushrooms!

Now, if it's things you *don't* like, mine is a very long list (I'm a fussy bugger when it comes to food).

Mayo, egg, most types of cheese, mushrooms, anything with a named organ in the title (i.e. Steak and Kidney Pie, tongue, liver), haggis (cos I know what goes in them), black pudding (only cos I know it's also called "blood sausage")... [snip very very very long list due to bandwidth constraints]

Man, you're squeamish!!

Mayo, much better than that plastic-tasting salad cream shite. Eggs, love 'em, not allowed to eat the yellow bit though :( Cheeese, anything but the soapy crap they sell here. Mmmm, gorgonzola, dolchelata, brie, oh yeah baby! 'shrooms!! Best raw, naturally. Steak, kidney, spleen, tonsil pie twice please. I had pigs brains a few years back, can't say I though much of them though, they're a bit like carp - too squidgy. Had haggis once, loved it. You don't like black pudding??!! What's wrong with you man?? I'll have this lot then :cheesy:

It's weird, I mean I'm the only one in my house that will happily sit and watch House at dinner time, or Casualty, or anything that shows loads of blood and gore.

But you won't catch me eating "beef belly" or "chicken feet" or "ox tongue" or anything with a named organ in the title. I don't know why :?

I suppose if I followed it all the way from when it stood in a pen and said "baah!" then maybe but I don't think so. I'm still waiting to help out when one of the neighbours slaughters a pig, just to see how I feel about it. The only thing I ever had a problem eating because of what it was was snails but I think it was 50/50 because it didn't taste very nice. Think garlicky snot. Maybe it was because it was on the menu but no-one had asked for it before, so the chef's assistant had to go out in the back yard with a bucket.

Then the English for various meats is probably indicative of a certain amount of squeamishness - pork is pig etc. What's white meat? Oooh, I'll have some of that nice juicy BREAST  Over here it's just the animal followed by "tina" for some reason (no idea who Tina is anyway) - Chicken is pile - piletina, calves are tele - teletina. No bullshit involved.

Haggis is nice, I find it to be a peppery mince. Well aware of what is in it, but also like the concept of less wastage. I hate wastage.

Snails I hate looking at, never mind eating.

Like pickled mussels, but mussels in a restaurant are usually too rubbery.

There is a delicacy here at this time of year, Dulce - dried seaweed. Nice and salty! Yum! :)
