I need to adjust handbrake on my 406 estate. but cant seem to find adjusting nut. Me thinks it is under exhaust heatshield under the car. before i go ripping it out can anyone confirm my fears pleaseeeeee

It's not under the heatshield you'll be glad to hear, see your other thread
