Error code help needed please

On my 2.2 sri estate, the engine light came on this morning after stalling the car pulling off the drive.

put my reader on it and it said its error code P0220 which is ' TPS/Pedal POsition Sensor/Switch B Circuit Malfunction'.

now is this a fault at the pedal, or under the bonnet?

anyone able to help?

If memory serves, under your bonnet, to the middle-right somewhere you should see a wheel about 4" diameter with a cable attached. Near here you'll see a white/beige/yellow unit about 1"x1"x1/4". This is the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). Check the condition of the connector first

i forgot to add... the car drives fine and other than the mgt light, there are no signs of anything being wrong.
