Are these easy to swap over? I've got hold of a new intrument cluster with rev counter but the mountings around the front where you screw the cluster down have been snapped. Would these be easy to take from my current cluster?

You'll need to take one apart to see, but I can't see any major problems. The biggest issue you would have is if anything has been soldered through the case, but I can't remember whether that's the case or not on the 406. I know you can take 309/405 clusters to bits and swap parts round.
