I believe that. Mirrors are easily exchangable if they were vandalised. The D8 ones look nicer too :supafrisk: Door handles? Thats just weird.
Blue406 wrote:We have seen photos on this very forum of D9 facelifted 406s with a D8 dash and centre console.
Of the ones I've seen here, they were all 1999 models.
I'd like to see those photos. I think the consensus on here is that it was a smashed D8 converted to a D9 front upon repair. Matt (MJB), reckons there is one or two D8's with D9 interiors given to Peugeot UK managers but I can nearly gurantee that there is no mass produced hybrids on the road.

On the coupe forum, they are on about the 607 chrome door catches being direct replacement for the 406.

So, if there is a 607 in the scrappy, and it has chrome door catches, then.................. :)

Chrome door catches? DO you mean the inner release handles? Mine are painted silver, is that what everyone's on about? They're not the same as a 607 so perhaps not :?

No, not the handle, it's the catch mounted on the B pillar

You can just see it on the b pillar - chrome plated with a black covering where the lock latches over

Cheers
