Hi Guys,
My 406 HDI 110 runs the cooling fan wizzing all of the time, it comes on at first ignition and stays on for 10 seconds after turning the ignition off.
Any ideas why this is happening?
thanks.

Re: HDI 110 engine fan problem
could be a dodgy fan control switch or engine temp sensor. There are usually 2 sensors, one for the ecu and one for the gauge on the dash.
I havent had to tinker with the 406's sensors but someone will know more about the pug system and where the sensors are. Although its better to have a fan that runs too much than one that stops working, even if it points to a fault.

Re: HDI 110 engine fan problem
check whether the connecting plug of the coolant temperature sensor is loosen/broken. If not most probably the sensor is faulty.5imon wrote:Hi Guys,
