found were its loosing coolant from

were the thermostat is under the fuel filter, its seeping out the plastic housing with the 3 bolts on that hold the thermostat in,

will i need to replace the housing or can i buy a new seal ?

There will either be a split in the housing lid or the seal is shot. Mind you if you replaced the 'stat I assume you fitted a new seal? (The one that wraps over the edge of the 'stat). Also pop off the bleed screw and check it hasn't been overtightened in the past and split.

This was mine, you can understand why it leaked!

thanks mate
i will go dealers 2moro and buy new housing, and a new thermostat , may as well replace both do the job properly 1st time 8)

Make sure you get a new 'stat seal as well!

Job done, thanks for all replys,

i replaced the thermostat seal, thermostat housing and the 2 pipes that come off the thermostat housing,

figured i may as well change them all 8)

no more leaks now 8)
