I find it happens a lot in the coupe too. I lost heavily to a 523i a few weeks ago but I beat the pants off a 2006 520d!!

BMW's tell you on the dash to change the BF

2 years is a good idea and a lot of garages have a machine that kinda does the BFC on its own somehow :?

The Volvo has just been in for a service (my scars are healing up nicely thanks for asking) and the dealer 'checked' the BF and reported it was 'OK' - I felt happy about that :|

Hey rappy! :)
I really ought to change the brake fluid on mine, I've had it nearly 3 years and not touched it.
On top of that I found yesterday that the top PAS pipe is leaking :frown:

No such luck rappy, this appears to be a fracture in the metal, I'll take a pic tomorrow.
I've just posted in Chaz's breaking thread, hope he's still got the pas hoses!

Thanks Welly, i agree. People pass comments on how shinny it is and ask if its a special edition. As it looks different to most passats. Found out the other day as it was a demo at the dealer they spent 5k on extras :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

I still crave a 535d or a 335d but my house appreciates the extra cash. And so does Mrs Rappy    .
