Interia fan not working

I have a 2001 HDi with Climatronic Air Con, 4 weeks ago the fan was work fine on all 4 speeds, next day i came to use the car and fan not working on any speeds. Since then i've changed the bushes on my fan still no good, bought a second hand fan still not work and have also borrowed a fan from my mates 406 and yet again still not working, i've checked all fuse's under the steering collum and under bonnet and they all seem to be fine. I've since rang Peugeot and they seem to think it's the series resistor but they couldn't find it on there system also somebody as said it could be the iqnition cable. Before i have to take it get sorted out and spend tons on it i thought i'd ask on here.

I think they probably meant the ignition switch. Or there's a power cable that burns but I'd have thought you'd have spotted that when you did the bushes (brushes?)

It's the heater control module/resistor that they mean.

I had this problem, it turned out to be a connection not far from the fan.

If you follow the 2 thicker red and black wires from the fan you'll find a white connection. Mine was totally burnt out.

i hope this is your problem cos iv heard it can get pretty complicated
