anybody else been getting this


General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111 [2013]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.


or is just my dodgy connection out here in Eastern Europe?

It happened here too, either transient or Nick was taking a backup of the database.

Phew thats ok then, glad long its not going to be a regular thing,

with what wiggy was saying about the coupe forum i was a little concerned there for a while,as if post work time isnt quiet enough already, dont need this place going down too :shock:

I really should just get myself booked onto to a bloody Polish language course somewhere in the evenings,
that will scupper the wife when she wants to moan about me to her friends :evil:

If it's a SQL error the site is still online but the database has either been dismounted or the connection to the SQL box is down. It's a rarity, the first time I've ever seen it!
Spooky coincidence with the coop forum off the air though...

This happens quite often on my football forum when the server gets full.
