Music.
Right I want to hear what everyones favourite music is.
I have to admit to liking ,Iron Maiden,Metallica,Dio,Black Sabbath,Megadeth.Basically all the music the charts are crying out for to change the monotony of crap that kids like nowadays.
Ive seen maiden twice, last time at Twickenham which was (insert swear word begining with F) awesome. I stood singing my heart out for 2 hours.I was deaf and had a sore throat by the end.My Mrs thought I was mad.
Saw Metallica last at Nottingham last year.

Saw Maiden at Graspop in Belgium a couple of years ago, and I shall be off to Germany to see them at Wacken in August
I'm a fan of power/symphonic/progressive metal, but I like heavy metal, folk metal and (very) melodic/progressive death metal too

Anything that isn't that new fangled r and/or b hip-hop. None of your jay-zed, 50 pence or rhiannon on my radio please!
The radio gets turned off as soon as a song starts with:
- An airhorn
- "nai nai nai"
In the CDs. Particular driving favourites at the moment include Muse (Knights of Cydonia is a cracker), Pendulum (Propane Nightmares a good one), MGMT (Time To Pretend), Temper Trap (Sweet Disposition, though this may be going out the window as every a lot of the world cup/England based advert is starting to play it)

I must admit, Im a huge Bon Jovi fan. And not Jon Bon Jovi, Bon Jovi the band! I recognise the absolute genius that is Richie Sambora. Ive been listening to them since way back when. This is Richie on his own back in 1992.
I am also a big fan of (not in order):
Guns N Roses
Metallica
Foo Fighters
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Paul Weller
BB King
Bruce Springsteen (I think he's a prophet)

Re: Music.
Oh lordy. It's hard to pin down as most of the bands I like on one album suck on the other 8. There's also stuff I don't listen to any more 'cos it's like watching an episode of Black Adder for the 487th time - I'm thinking Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin et al. It's not like I've gone off them, if they come on the radio the volume's going right up but I wouldn't listen to them out of choice any more (and anyway, I left all my vinyl back in the UK).
Sooo, in my mp3 player just now we have Rambo Amadeus (clever bloke, you wouldn't understand the lingo so take my word for it) and Bloodhound Gang (hil-a-riuos)
In my car stereo this week I have a small D&B collection (Incl. Pendulum - Back to You and their vastly superior remix of Voodoo People; Concorde Dawn - Morning Light & Aurora; Black Sun Empire - Boris the Blade, Bitemark, Future Frame)
In my tiny stereo at home there's probably Clawfinger. Sitting in a heap next to that are Rammstein, Ministry, Killing Joke, Offspring, the David Brockie Experience, GWAR, Anthrax, Audioslave, American Headcharge, Fluke, Mindfunk, Mordred, Pere Ubu, Venom, hold on, let me open up my music hard drive. Nah, probably best not to go there...

Re: Music.
Know what you mean about some music being like watching something for the 400th time. Thats why my ipod is no longer in the car, ended up I was spending more time flicking past songs I was bored with than driving
Pendulums Voodoo People mix is a good choice too.
I find the Clarion CD player is quite fussy if your CD is slightly scratched.

Re: Music.
Recently I've been listening to Slayer, Rage against the Machine and System of a Down (Chop Suey). The reason for this is all thanks to the Sky TV Channel 'Kerrang' - see, when I was decorating the house over the winter I would put Kerrang's Rock Top 20 or whatever on and I really liked it, it's probalby not proper metal music, more Rock type stuff? but it's better than listening to JLS making me feel sick with their crappy words

Re: Music.
I have to be very careful what i listen to in the car as the more i get into a tune the heavier my right foot gets and the lighter my grip on the wheel (air guitar/drums at 90mph is not adviseable
)
Normally a bit of foo fighters, Hendrix or metallica, favourite would have to be Ministry but never while driving on public roads for the reason I've already mentioned, 'err sorry officer, no you're quite right it was a very silly thing to do and I will never do it again, honest'

Re: Music.
A bad sign surely?
Oh looky, more bands I've never even heard of
I often think if they suddenly banned the production of new music there's enough already to keep us all amused forever anyway.

And have Body Count's Cop Killer still playing in the backgroundgumby6371 wrote: 'err sorry officer, no you're quite right it was a very silly thing to do and I will never do it again, honest'
