hi there everybody, i am new at this so please bear with me! i have a 406 2000 on a w glx its done 92k fsh been fantastic had it for over 4 years but now have a problem with the aircon (it has climate) just doesent work cannot hear the elec/clutch come in stopped all of a sudden i would be much obliged if someone could help with a few suggestons..regards all don...

If the compressor isn't kicking in you've got low refrigerant pressure. There may be a fault with the pressure switch (although unlikely); the most common fault is corrosion on the condensor causing a leak. Get it pressure tested for starters, unfortunately they all seem to suffer from condensor rot after about 8 years.
