Ooh that reminds me I need to drill a breather hole in the new V6's intake... After hearing about Trem's write-off due to a ford, I'm scared of the smallest puddles

Is the air intake on the 2.1TD in a different place? It seems to be in the middle of the front bumper as far as I remember :?

Still, the insurance paid out and I got my tubby exec! :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

I don't think you're going to find an engine on here I'm affraid :|

Best keep a eye on ebay and decent salvage places etc. is it worth speaking to your insurance? they might right it off, pay you, and you keep the car to fix yourself?

So now I'm looking for a second hand lump as I reckon my car's only worth about £1k. (1999/V GTX Estate Family).
Any help or pointers in the right direction would be appreciated.
