Re: bsi replacement
tried a reset ,but did not help ,i am getting more faults everyday
Re: bsi replacement
BSIs cannot be reprogrammed, so if you want to use a 2nd hand one you'll need the engine ECU, possibly other bits too

Re: bsi replacement
yep as mjb says, and you'll need the immobiliser chip from the key to the donor 406 otherwise you wont be able to start your engine, i swapped my bsi over to put cruise control in, however you may end up with additional miles on the clock as a result

Re: bsi replacement
Steve,I sympathise.Hve a look at my ignition probs.Seems this is "common".Who manufactured this piece of crap anyhoo?Best of luck and hope yours is NOT needing replacement.
Re: bsi replacement
BBA reman can repair your original bsi usually, if they cant, they can virginise a used one to be programmed into your car using peugeot planet, they are probably your cheapest option to get your car running again
