So I came across this and was wondering what people's thoughts were. For as long as I had my current car, I wanted to remap it but the cost of doing so at £300+ was a little off-putting.
Any thoughts on this? Worth the risk?

It's worth a try, but on 2.2's, (at least i one case I know about), the file from a 2002 car wouldn't work in a 2001 ecu. Didn't do any harm, but the immobiliser refused to let it start. The guy had to get a modified file based on his original, which worked straight away.puggy wrote:The alternative CJ we arrange a meet , you doggy and me and doggy copies mine and try's
