Pah, if only I could just "flick" the heating on Fetch wood, make kindling, screw up newspaper, cardboard, kindling, wood, turn the pump on... Back to the stone age
I've already run the heating here 5 or 6 times. I'm on the expensive stuff at home (heating oil ) but that won't come on until it drops below 12 (damn, I've only got 800 litres left too )

(and before you ask incineration plant of net thermal input < 0.3MW is exempt from LAPC)

This sounds right up my street as I have been heating my house for the last 20yrs on anything flammable that I can scrounge from skips and hedgerows, best of all are the finest rainforest mahogany window and door sills divrted from landfill
No buttons for instant heating in this part of rural Norfolk.
The woodburner does all the hot water and rads FOC, great.
